To install an auxiliary wire for a JVC KD-AR600, first, locate the AUX input port on the front of the unit. Use a 3.5mm auxiliary cable, connecting one end to your audio device and the other end to the AUX input. Ensure the JVC KD-AR600 is powered on, then select the AUX source using the head unit’s source button. Finally, adjust the volume on both the head unit and your audio device as needed.
Illumination wire. Connect it to your dash lights' 12v+ so that when you turn your lights on at night, the lights on the head unit dim so they aren't blindingly bright.

To program a JVC RM-STHM45J remote to a Kawasaki 1152 surround sound system, first, turn on the surround sound unit. Then, press and hold the "DVD" button on the remote until the red indicator light turns on, then release the button. Next, enter the appropriate device code for Kawasaki (you may need to refer to the remote's manual for the specific code). Finally, press the "Power" button to test if the remote successfully controls the surround sound system.
To set the time on the JVC KD-S550 head unit, press the "Menu" button, then use the knob or buttons to navigate to the "Clock" or "Time" settings. If you want an original replacement remote and JVC doesn't make the model anymore, a site like newremotecontrol.com has hundreds. If you don't care about it being original, I would recommend checking out a Logitech Harmony remote, which can be programmed to control your receiver, TV, DVD and just about everything that has an infrared remote.
You can but this JVC is not surround, nor does it have a digital input. You will have to use the stereo analog outputs on the DVD player to connect to the JVC's mini plug input on the front of the unit.
