Check for a blown fuse. have checked fuses with meter under driver side dash and under hood on 2004 explorer
You probably melted a fusable link . Check by the battery or on the firewall . It will be a wire with a melted spot by where it bolts to the power supply
It could be a short in the fuse.
if your radio is theft protected you may have a short and that would triger the radio to go into theft mode enter the security code if this is a factory radio and it doesnt work call the dealership parts dept and give code
There is a short in your wiring somewhere to your radio. I would check it out. Or get it checked.
The radio could have a short in a wire that is being bounced and causing it to turn off. It also could be the radio is going out and should be replaced.
FOLLOW THE STARTER WIRE FOLLOW IT UP FROM THE STARTER THERE IS AN INSOLATER THAT TAKES THE WIRE FROM ONE WIRE TO TWO AND THE INSOLATER WILL GET WATER IN IT AND SHORT OUT.... ALSO CHECK THE STEERING COLUM WHERE THE PLUGS ARE FOR LOOSE OR BROKEN WIRES OR BAD GROUNDS..
write a short note on windows?
Raidio is short for Raidiogram.
Sounds like an electrical short. Take it to someone certified to do the repairwork like a Pepboys or your dealership, but the dealership will probably charge you more.
I would check your fuse panel. There might be more than one blown fuse as power windows shouldn't be on the same circuit as the radio/clock. Another more annoying possibility is a short in the ignition so that the car doesn't know its on. My Grand Am one night, would drive, the dash lights worked, the door locks worked, but my a/c, blower fan, heater, windows, radio and a few other things didn't which was bad because it was summer. Ended up being the ignition short mentioned earlier. But go for the cheaper option first, check your fuses. You can look in your owners manual to find out which ones do what. If you don't have the manual, just check them all.
Clock and Radio, i had a small short on my tercel and i blew my radio and dashboard clock, now they are not working, trying to replace that fuse..
