They where a traditional tarten it is blue,white,green,red and gold. The blue and white stand for the ocean and foam. The green stands for the forests in the province. The red stands for a royal lion which is a symbol in scotland. Then last but not least the gold represents the historic royal charter of Nova Scotia.
