The short answer would be yes but, electrically, the circuit will no different than plugging it into a wall receptical. I assume your purpose is to run the wiring inside the wall. It is simple todo if, but only if you have a good basic understanding single phase 120 VAC residential electrical wiring. I think the most simple and safe way to do this would be to mount a plug receptical inside the wall and plug the power supply into that. That way you avoid the problem of connecting a stranded conductor to a solid conductor. Whatever you choose to do you should talk to a local electrician to see if building codes allow it.
