You probably just need to fill the headlight fluid. Check at Wal-Mart.
drain it fill it from the thermostat when full close up thermostat then fill top radiator hose and you put that back on if done correct your coolent will sit in the resivor at cold hieght and you should be good to go
it could be the thermostat needs changing to I hope I am wrong, but you could have a blown/leaking head gasket. Sounds like there is compression pressure entering the cooling system.
You will refill the transmission fluid in 1990 Thunderbird in the fluid case found in the bonnet of the car. You should ensure that it is about 1/4 inch below the fill plug hole.Ê

The relay is located in the engine compartment in a relay box. It is a long narrow black plastic box with removable lid, and sits next to the radiator overflow/fill reservoir. The fuse you are looking for is in location #13FL.
If it has a 4.6 V8 it needs 1 3/4 Gallons antifreeze and then fill with water.

I have a 1993 Ford Explorer. There is no fill plug for transmission fluid. I imagine that the 1994 Ford Explorer would be similar. To fill, use a funnel and pour the transmission fluid directly into the tube that holds the dipstick. Do not fill past the full line on the tank below.
