You probably have a short to ground somewhere. It will take some detective work to locate the source. I take an old 12 volt fog light bulb and socket, attach spade ends on the wires then replace the blown fuse with this rig. The bulb will remain lit up bright as long as you still have the short without any further damage to the wiring or blowing more fuses. Now you can wiggle/disconnect conections, switches and harness's and when the light goes out or flickers you have found the location of the short.
The door locks are not computer controlled.

Check the door relay and wiring on the Windstar. Check the fuses under the dash, and in the under the hood distribution box as well.
They were an available option.
The fuse for the door locks in a 2002 Dodge Caravan is located in the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can identify the specific fuse by referring to the diagram on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual, where it will be labeled for the power door locks. If the fuse is blown, replacing it should restore functionality to the door locks.
Door locks are protected by circuit breakers. A surge of power to a fuse would cause it to blow. They are located in the fuse panel.
Bad door lock actuator.
On a 2002 Ford Windstar : Open the drivers door and on the latch pillar will be an information sticker that shows the original size of tires on the vehicle from the factory
There is no way to do this. There are child-proof locks on the sliding doors.
It is very very likely the doors are interchangeable. The 1999 through 2003 Windstars were essentially unchanged.
