These are reported to be booklice, not spiders, (though people describing them refer to them as ticking spiders) and with poor eyesight communicate at night by sometimes making a clearly audible "ticking" noise, by tapping the abdomen on the surface of paper. Check out Liposcelis divinatorius.
Ticking on acceleration is usually the ignition timing, get it tuned..
look for a shorted electric motor like window motor. when the motor contacts fail they can cause the "ticking" and it drains the power constantly, even when the ignition is off.
This depends entirely on how well a person hears. Some people will not hear the ticking of a clock if they are standing right next to it, while others will hear it in the next room or beyond if it is quiet enough.
Where is th ticking coming from?? The engine, the tires, the trunk????
It has something to do with the rear ac actuator. The ticking noise comes from the "door" of the valve...some dealerships call it "flappers".
Turn the ignition on and see if you hear a humming coming from the pump. If it is inside the fuel tank, you can hear it from the back seat.
The ticking noise is the metal cooling.
Why is gasoline coming out of the ignition switch?
No, you would not be able to hear a watch ticking in an airless bottle because sound requires a medium, such as air, to travel through. Without air to transmit the sound waves, no vibrations from the watch ticking would be able to reach your ears.
