My '96 Mercedes C220 has a constant beep in the dashboard and there is no lights that indicate a problem Anyone got an answer for this???
To reset the light, turn your ignition to on, then press the gas pedal 3 times, then start the car. To reset the light, turn your ignition to on, then press the gas pedal 4 times then you will hear a beep, then start the car.
put the red coded key in the ignition turn it to position 2 quickly 3 times listen for a beep once the beep has sounded leave it in the ignition press one of the buttons on the key in the ignition the the same button on the new key fob that will program the new fob signals to the origanl.
You have an immobilizer problem. Try another key.
To reset the service indicator on a 2012 Mercedes C220, turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times within 10 seconds, then turn the ignition off. When you turn the ignition back on, the service indicator should be reset. If it doesn't reset, you may need to repeat the process.
Turn the car off... Then turn the keys in the ignition until all the dash lights light up... Then turn you headlights on and off maually three times... You should hear a beep. that means you have disabled the sensor! :) Hope that helps... repeat the process to turn it back on! :)
The beeping is just telling you that the machine is turning off.
Turn ignition on... depress gas pedal to floor three times in ten seconds. Turn ignition off then on. Knock on windshield four times and turn ignition off again.
Clicking on your seatbelt will turn off the seat belt reminder beep.

Some one set it up to do so See instructions below for enabling and disabling it. Turn on the ignition so the dashboard lights are illuminated. DO NOT start the engine. Lock the door using the button on the door handle Then unlock the door (but do not open it) three times. Turn OFF the ignition. Lock the door using the button on the door handle Then unlock the door (but do not open it) three times. Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine - you will hear a distinctive beep. Lock the door again as before then unlock it (only once this time) - a final beep will be heard. Your doors will now auto lock when you pull away. This will also auto lock the doors in reverse. If you need to disable this feature, then repeat the steps above.
