I could be wrong, so this is just something you can look into. But I think it's possible that your brake pads or calipers may be loose.
Can be the u-joint, or CV joint is worn. Can also be a part of the exhaust system is loose. Put the car on the rack and have everything inspected.
Check the brake pads. The most common cause of the noise is the pad backer grinding against the brake rotor.
You have either run something over or your car is due for a service
A car that is in good running condition should not make a clunking noise. If a person pushes the gas and brake pedal at the same time causing a car to make a clunking noise, that is an indication of stain on the motor.
Rotors are worped most likely
Because you accidently farted and did not admit it
Dirty brake pads could cause a car to make a squeaking noise when putting the car in gear or when releasing the brakes. Cleaning, sanding, or replacing the brake pads should make the sound stop.
sounds like low brake pads.
warped rotors , brake
Sounds like the porselin Valve!!!!
no suv's do not make more noise than a car
One clunk when accelerating (but now repeated clunks) and another when braking can be caused by broken motor mounts.
you may be low on brake fluid
