Coolant level can go down because of small leaks in hoses, the radiator, or the water pump. Sometimes it’s just a weak radiator cap, but if you’re refilling it often, it’s better to get it checked before it leads to overheating.
I had a similar issue, and then I visited a shop near me, Bergman's Auto Repair. They did a pressure test and found a small hose leak that wasn’t visible at first. It’s definitely better to fix it early than deal with bigger engine problems later.
The coolant expands and rises when it is hot so it goes up, the coolant comes down when the car is cold.
Could be, sticky thermostat or low coolant level.
Hard driving can cause an engine to use oil, but not drastically. Coolant level should not be effected unless the engine overheats.
Yes. There should always be some coolant in the overflow tank. Its level should rise when the engine warms up, and it should go back down when the engine cools.
The coolant light is supposed to indicate when the coolant level is low. If you're certain that the vehicle coolant level is up, check the electrical connections and finally the sensor.
probably the coolant level sensor... Does the temprature gauge go up to hot then down to normal?
Either the coolant reservoir is low on coolant or the coolant level sensor is NG.
The coolant level is low.The coolant level is low.
low coolant level
Check the coolant level. Not just the bottle but in the radiator too. The 3400 motor is known for leaking coolant at the intake manifold.
Check your coolant level, and replace your thermostat
Low coolant level and possible coolant leak.
