There is no adjustment on this clutch. The clutch is hydrolic, you may need to bleed it.

Why does the clutch on an 88 Chevrolet Beretta have trouble going into gear in first second and reverse?

The simple thing to check is clutch adjustment. Does your clutch pedal go almost to the floor before you feel tension? If so, then a clutch adjustment(Cable style) should cure the problem. If your clutch is hydraulic and not cable, then you may have a bad slave cylinder or air in the line. Chris put in a new throw out bearing

How do you adjust shift linkage on 95 Chevy cavalier?

If i can't reach to push the clutch petal completely down to the floor in my '95 Honda civic ex coupe is there any way to fix that?

A good mechanic should be able to attach an extension block to your clutch pedal. Also have the clutch adjustment checked because you shouldn't need to push it all the way to the floor to shift your vehicle.

What if the hydraulic clutch is new but it still goes all the way to the floor?

Need to be bled? Slave cylinder replaced also Clutch disc, pressure plate, or throw-out bearing worn or out of adjustment? Sounds like it is working properly

I need to push the clutch ALL the way to the floor to get into gear. Is there any adjustment in the hydraulic clutch in a 2000 ford F350?

There is no adjustment on your hydraulic clutch. Try pumping (quick stabs on the pedal with your foot) the clutch a few times and then push your clutch all the way in. If the clutch works better after pumping it, your slave cylinder is leaking and needs to be replaced. If there is no difference, you may need to bleed your hydraulic lines - if you have air in there, the air will compress unlike hydraulic fluid and your slave cylinder won't have the full range of motion.

In your 1992 Chevy Camaro rs your clutch pushes all the way to the floor but does not shift gears when started whats wrong with it?

Either have air in your lines or you might need a new clutch plate.

my clutch went to the floor what happened?

Why does your clutch pedal touch the floor?

It's called: Your clutch is working.

What does it mean when the clutch sticks all the way to the floor on a 1997 Chevy cavalier z 24?

The clutch release ("throw-out") bearing has gone bad...Use a new clutch disc when you replace the clutch release bearing...or it could be the clutch master cylinder. Check the master cylinder first...Look for any sign of leakage from either component .

Why won't ford ranger diesel push start It has manual transmission.?

Because you have to have the clutch depressed to start it. They came factory with a clutch safety switch that will not allow the engine to start unless the clutch pedal is pressed to the floor . NOT. the clutch safety switch only allows the starter to be energized... If the glow plugs will cycle then the truck can be pulled to start. When my starter solenoid was bad I pulled it to start.
