It should come with the lawn mower in the box when you buy it. Go to the manufacturer's website. You should be able to download one for your model, or one close to it.
Normally smoking is caused by piston rings wearing out, it needs an oil change, or is overfilled and sucking oil into the carb.
The manufacturers instructions should include the blade size for your weed eater lawn mower.
The three things that could cause black smoke which come to mind are: 1) You have a belt or pulley problem which is causing the belt to slip and burn. 2) You have an oil leak that is getting on to the exhaust and burning. 3) The mower is running rich. Which means it is getting too much gas. The most common of these is choice 1. Oil leaks don't normally get onto the exhaust since most exhausts aren't under the engine. The running rich problem also does not normally come from under the mower. It would typically come from the exhaust unless it has an exhaust leak.
A push lawn mower is easier to store if space is an issue. They are ideal for smaller yards and come in many varieties. A riding lawnmower would be ideal if you have a large yard and space to store the mower isn't an issue.
Emissions are what come out of your exhaust and 2008+ (usa) have a newer exhaust setup that is suppose to cut down on contaminates that come from your exhaust.
If the emissions light turns on there is a problem with the exhaust system. The oxygen sensor, erg system and exhaust should be checked for any leaks or malfunctions.
The lawn mower was invented by Edwin Budding, Western England 19th century
Lower level, get in a basement if you can.
There are a number of different types of lawn mowers out there, but none of them hold a candle to a Craftsman lawn mower. The level of name recognition that Craftsman enjoys does not come easily, and there are a number of ways that you can make sure you get the best Craftsman lawn mower for your unique yard space. First, make sure you get a lawn mower that is appropriate for the size of your yard. This is the first mistake that most people make. Many will choose to get a larger mower than they need and they end up regretting it.
Flames will come from the exhaust when raw gas enters the exhaust then ignites. run computer codes for the engine to look for a problem causing the gas to not burn completely.
is there a sweet smell? Does the coolant level drop in the overflow tank and/or the radiator? if so, you might be looking at a bad head gasket. if there is slight white smoke(usually condensation) and no loss of coolant, then it is normal. once the engine (and exhaust system) gets hot, there should be no more smoke.
