you are low on steering fluid(maybe a leak) get it checked out before it is too late.
UPDATE: (I can now answer my own question) Actually, the answer has since been discovered to be bad strut mount bearing plates (Toyota Camry). Once the strut mounts (and their bearing plates) were replaced, all has been quiet for the past 8 months. The creaking was similar to the sound of a old wooden ship in the movies (like Pirates of the Caribbean).
it would be in need of some lubrication Perhaps bad or weak clock-spring (real part) inside steering column
The antonym of stationary is mobile.
stationary
The word for not moving is "stationary."
Here are some words that mean the opposite of stationary: active, mobile, moving, restless, unfixed, unsteady.
Stationary mean "not moving" so it must mean the the position is not moving or stay the same place.
Stationary or immobile objects.
Any object that is not moving can be classed as stationary.
The opposite of moving would be not moving. The best opposite would be "stay put" or the similar concepts stay or remain. Another possible antonym is "stop" because it represents the opposite of something stationary that moves: something moving that becomes stationary.
When a bicycle is moving, its forward momentum creates gyroscopic forces that help stabilize it. These forces, along with the bike's steering and rider's input, contribute to its balance. When stationary, these forces are absent, making it more difficult to balance the bike. Additionally, when stationary, there is no forward motion to counteract the effects of gravity, making it more likely for the bike to fall over.
this object that appears to stay in place is a reference point.
I believe it would be stationary but i am not sure
