maybe low on fluid. check the level after a short drive around town. no have driving or high speeds for long periods before check. park your car and apply parking break, make sure you are on level ground. Move the trasmission through the gears R,N,D,3,2,1(Depending on your model)then back up to N. leave it in N and engine running, cheak level, if low add the proper fluid to the mark on the dip stick. DO NOT OVER FILL. this leads to the oil foaming up. after that drive it again and if that helps then your good to go, if not, could be broken part in transmission, I use Lucas addative in mine and it works great
Your transmission will slip and clunk or bang when changing gears, can have trouble changing thru the rand of gears, ans will eventually over heat and burn out.
Very hard shifting between gears accompanied with a bang. That has been my experience in my Pontiac Montana.
Transmission gears? In the transmission.
Gears is what transmission is for. No gears. No transmission!
A c-4 transmission has 3 gears.
3 gears
The transmission allows you to shift gears.
A Shift control soleniod for a exploer is in the transmission and controls the shift pressures for the trans. When bad you will feel a bang into gears. Very common problem on an exploer.
Did you use the right transmission fluid or did you forget to maintain your transmission otherwise, your gears are broken and needed to be replaced.. chances are you need a new transmission.
You bang your mom.
The mechanism of the tiptronic gear transmission is rotation. The tiptronic gears are usually an automatic transmission that allows the driver to control the gears like it is done in a manual transmission.
The most common cause for a transmission not to change gears, is low transmission fluid. Check the transmission fluid and fill to the full line.
