Who told you it was the best? Every vehicle has a requirement for a certain weight oil. Today the most widely used weight for cars built in the last 5 years is 5w-20. But some require 10w-30 and others different weights. Diesels require a different weight than a gasoline engine. The bottom line is to use exactly what the manufacture recommends and nothing else.
20W50 mineral oil
3 qts 20W50 oil
Any high grade 20w50
castrol extra 20W50
SAE 20w50 synthetic.
It's not recommended to mix different types of oil as this can affect the lubricating properties and performance of the oil. It's best to stick to using the recommended oil for your engine to ensure optimal performance and protection.
They can range greatly from 5W30 to 10W30 to 20W40 to 20W50, depending on the application, engine type, driving conditions. Best to check OEM specs
5W30? Who the heck posted that 20W50 is the correct oil for the crankcase.
20w50 oil in the motor
10w30 in the winter time---- 20w50 in the summer time.
I have always found that 20w50, the heavy weight oil, works best in older vehicles.
Yes, the engine oil . Just change the engine oil,it lubes the trans & engine. I recomend 10w40 for normal riding & 20w50 for hard riding.
