Hi, the cream in your rocker cover is better known as mayonnaise in the trade. First of all is the car running OK, check if there's any oil floating in the expansion (water) tank, likewise check oil dip stick for any traces of mayonnaise and water, if this is the case then you could have a blown head gasket a compression test would also help.
Another more likely cause is short tripping . What happens is the engine doesn't get hot enough condensation forms in the rocker mixes with the oil and emulsifies (Mayonnaise) especially in cold weather, the cure is quite easy, regular oil changes take car for a good run at least once a week. I have this problem at the moment I've taken rocker cover off to clean also check the breather pipes make sure these are clear any blockage can cause the car to keep cutting out. I hope this information helps. good luck.
Usually the width of the rocker cover. If it if fairly narrow its usually single, a wide rocker cover is usually housing 2 cams . Answer Does the valve cover say 12V or 16V the 12V is a SOHC and the 16V is a DOHC
