chances are that the car has been through an extremely cold spell (winter) and there hasnt been enough or strong enough anti freeze in the water, so the water in the engine froze and forced the cap out as its expanded. basicly its what there designed to do, so your engine block doesnt crack when freezeing.
You probably have a cracked engine block and engine coolant is mixing with engine oil.
On a 1998 Lincoln Continental : The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap . The engine coolant reservoir is in your engine compartment , towards the passenger side of the engine compartment
The thread on cap for your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap ( the engine coolant reservoir is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment , near the firewall )
On a 2005 Lincoln LS : ( the thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap ) * the engine coolant reservoir is on the drivers side of the engine compartment , by the firewall
On a 2003 Ford Ranger : The 2.3 litre four cylinder engine has a thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir , that is the pressure cap / radiator cap ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the 3.0 and 4.0 litre V6 engines , I believe there is a radiator cap on the top of the radiator , but with the engine cool you should add engine coolant to the engine coolant reservoir - it has a cold fill mark
On a 2000 Lincoln LS : The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap * the engine coolant reservoir is in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment , next to the firewall , you can see the cap through a hole in the " trim "
The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is your pressure cap / radiator cap
The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap
The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is your pressure cap / radiator cap
On a 2003 Ford Thunderbird : The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap The engine coolant reservoir is in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment , near the firewall . You can see the cap on the reservoir through a hole in the " trim "
The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap for the engine cooling system
On a 2001 Ford Focus : The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap
