replace alternator belt
If the chirping noise speeds up as the truck speeds up, check the u-joints in the drive line.
belt
if it was like my 99, then a belt was worn out, and will cause a chirping noise, if it is in the engine compartment, it is very likely to be a belt
A chirping whistling noise!
The noise is birds chirping.
could be the alternator making the noise. The a/c turned on puts extra strain on the system and the a/c and alternator both are belt driven so the extra strain could be causing the sound and when the engine is going faster the noise will seem to go away. The alternator can make a chirping type of sound sometimes but I'm not sure if is indicating a problem that needs to be checked. Hope this helps; maybe another response will result if someone disagrees with me....good luck...Mark
Your chirping smoke alarm is making noise because it is indicating a low battery or a malfunction. To stop the noise, you can replace the battery or reset the alarm according to the manufacturer's instructions.
They make a short chirping noise (only the females make this noise)

Your chirping smoke detector is likely making noise because its battery is low or needs to be replaced. To stop the chirping noise, you can try replacing the battery with a new one. If the issue persists after replacing the battery, it may be a sign that the smoke detector itself needs to be replaced.
I had the same chirping noise. My chriping was the belt and/or the power steering pump. I replaced both. no noise now. I would first replace the belt, then the pump
