Obviously a seal has failed.
Fix the cause, or keep adding fluid.
try the cool line fitting from the radiator to the transmission i just had that problem on a 1994 mercury Sometimes you can leak out of the tailhousing of your transmission if the housing seal is slightly damaged
Determine the origination of leak and repair Could be transmission cooler line, seal, etc.
It could be that your transmission housing is leaking. You will probably find oil underneath the machine as well.
If the hose is leaking, replace it.
Sounds like front pump seal if automatic-very common
Because your transmission has a seal that is leaking.
The better question is what is leaking transmission fluid?
Coolant lines? Shift linkage? could also be the rear or front seals leaking
What his means is that the fluid is leaking out of a hole or crack in some part of the pipework through which the transmission fluid flows. Park it on a flat clean surface and see where the fluid is dripping out onto the ground. The hole will be somewhere above the drip.
The output shaft seal has failed and transmission fluid is leaking by, and that would explain the transmission fluid appearing there.
you may need a new gasket or too much freeplay in the cable
