You don't say whether speaker built in or free-standing. Problem is either speaker, amp or wiring between. Assuming stereo, put speaker on other channel. If fault changes over = speaker or wiring At Fault. If it doesn't = amp at fault. Assuming fault changed over, check plugs and connections and meter wires for continuity. Speaker should have nominal 4, 8 or 16 ohms across the terminals
