Why not use petrol in diesel engine?

Using petrol in a diesel engine can cause severe mechanical damage and expensive repairs, making it extremely unsafe and inefficient. Diesel engines are specifically designed to operate with diesel fuel, which has very different chemical and combustion properties compared to petrol. If you use Petrol or Gasoline in a Diesel engine you will destroy that engine. That is why you do not use it.
