Why won't my Daewoo lanos change gears. It only goes into 3rd or 4th gear. Feels like a bit of play when in gear with gear stick.?
There is a plastic ring which positions the gear stick to select gears...if you take the gear stick cover off and have a look where the arm goes thru the plastic housing towards the engine. If you can see broken plastic anywhere, either in the frame or broken off sliding around the arm, this is your problem...easy fixed
