it may be your fuel pressure regulator leaking. On my 2002 3.4l impala, it is located just below the throttle body. follow the fuel line up, it should be just before the injection manifold. if you seee gas leaking, get it replace soon as it could cause a fire. thre may be a safety recall on it.
A 1974 Chevy Impala frame would work
Check with your local Chevy dealer on that.
no
The most common cause of the whistling in a 2003 Impala is a vacuum leak. Any of the lines under the hood could be causing the noise.
I would guess about six quarts...
Have a mechanic check your fuel pressure regulator. This is not a difficult or terribly expensive fix, and should solve your problem. It's pretty common with these cars.
Chevy already put the 5.3 Liter V8 in the Impala in 2006. It makes 303 H.P. Putting a 5.7 could be done, but the expense would be great. I would just look for a factory V8.
ON the 2006 impala that whining noise is actually the electronics when you accelerate. Its more or less electronic pulses/signals My 06 Impala is the same.
Could be Warped Rotors. Have them checked.....
Weight of the vehicle
yes
No, this would not be a direct bolt in.
