Because it is a generator. It picks up kinetic energy from the wheel, and turns it into electric energy.
As long as the direction in which the dynamo is turned remains the same then yes, it is essentially the same as a D/C generator, albeit a small, weak one. If the rotational direction of the dynamo keeps changing it becomes an A/C generator (the current flows one way, then the other). This would require some form of charging capacity such as a battery or capacator in order to have any usefull purpose. Generally speaking, A/C generators & inverters either 1)are powered by fuel engines, or 2)require much more input than a dynamo could feasibly provide in order to carry out their particular function. A typical example of an A/C generator is a Welding machine. (You could not run a welder off a dynamo!)

You'd need to hook the bike up to a generator.
The wheels and axles of course, the pedals, the crank.
It makes AC ( alternating current ) . That's why it's called an alternator. A DC generator would usually be called a dynamo.
Generating Capacity : Power plant has very high generating capacity as compared to gen set.Size of the equipment : Size of the alternators are compatibly very big in Power plants.Type of Prim-over : In Power plant turbine is used to for prime over or to provide mechanical power to rotor of the alternator whereas in generating set diesel engine is used for prim-over.
Bicicle generators do not produce the same power out (usually much less) it would take hours to do what a large generator can create at any moment for long periods of time
The MK2 Crimson Dynamo would win a battle with the New Goblin hands down.
Flashlights........................................ not an expert on that..................................
Iron Monger is a technological super genius, Crimson Dynamo is just an idiot who drives the suit.
It can be a simple mechanical joining of the two shafts, so that when the turbine shaft rotates, the joined dynamo also rotates at the same speed. It is more common to use a gearbox, so that a different rotation speed is imparted to the dynamo. The ratio will depend on the ideal speed required by the dynamo and the available power from the turbine. A relatively slow moving set of wind turbine blades, will have a lot of available power, so a gearbox that has a large gear turning a small one, will increase the speed, allowing the dynamo to produce the required voltage. A water turbine may spin at a very fast speed, beyond the working parameters of the dynamo. In this case the gearbox will not only reduce the revs to the dynamo, but it will also be able to take a heavier load.
A generator can be considered a leasehold improvement if it is installed in a rented space and enhances the functionality or value of the property. However, if the generator is movable or not permanently affixed to the property, it may be classified as personal property instead. The classification often depends on the terms of the lease agreement and how the generator is integrated into the property. Ultimately, consulting with a legal or accounting professional can provide clarity based on specific circumstances.
