That is the sound of the air intake. It's normal unless grossely audible which could indicate a bad seal in the intake.
A/C compressor? A/C compressor?
Brakes
I have a 1998 dodge dakota. I had a whirring noise that i thought was the transmission. Was real loud when i accellerated and shifted. it turned out to be the clutch on the fan that draws air thru the radiator was locked up and would make a real loud whirring noise because the clutch wasn't slipping as well as affected performance and shifting. Might check that out....... Good Luck Steve K
A pebble.
Depends on what's wrong with the starter, exactly. It could be whirring sound, a clicking sound, no sound at all, etc.
yea mine makes a funny vibrating noise when i accelerate hard, but it doesnt make it if i accelerate gently? i have no idea sorry
the wheel bearing on the vehicle will make a roaring noise when you accelerate the faster you go the louder it gets
you may have a rod knocking and you need to take it to a shop asap
Sometimes squeaky noises can be a result of a damaged belt. When you speed up, the noise goes away. You should get your car inspected by a mechanic.
Is it bogging down? if thats what your referring to, then maybe try a fuel pump if yoir car has one.
ON the 2006 impala that whining noise is actually the electronics when you accelerate. Its more or less electronic pulses/signals My 06 Impala is the same.
Yes. When it starts to get low you will start to notice a grinding or whirring noise when you turn the wheel. As it continues to get lower the noise becomes more constant and loud. I personally think it sounds like a transformer (robot) that needs its hinges oiled.
