the engine is constantly vibrating and it dislodges the spark plugs
Loose spark plugs would result in a loss of compression. This would make starting difficult and if the engine ran at all it would do so badly.
To remove the stuck spark plugs, you can break them loose and then start to get them tighter as you rotate them out. The ratchet wrench can also be used to remove the stuck spark plugs.
Spark plugs do not loose power, rather, they become worn and erroded. On occasion they may also become fouled, indicating a mechanical or fuel problem.
When replacing spark plugs on a Nissan Maxima 1995 remove the spark plug covers by twisting until they come loose. Use a socket and wrench to turn the spark plug to the left until it is released from the vehicle. Repeat for all spark plugs. Screw the new spark plugs into the vehicle and replace the spark plug covers.
possibily its the wrong plugs could be hitting the pistons
I would recommend the OEM spark plugs, AC/Delco. Excellent plugs.
If your Honda CRV cranks but won't turn over because the spark plugs are not getting spark, ensure the wires are connected. A loose spark plug wire can cause this issue.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.
They had 2 engines available, a 2.4L 4 cylinder which would have 4 spark plugs and a 3.4L V-6 with 6 spark plugs.
Depends on the type of spark plugs. Factory plugs around 70 - 100k depending on the condition of the plugs. I would replace the spark plugs out with some AC Delco iridium plugs they will last you 100k+.
Same as you normally would in any other car, depends on the spark plugs.
Use the same spark plugs as you would with a distributor, but reset the gap to .020".
