No, less than 1 pint will do no harm.
Your motor oil going bad would cause that. That is in the crankcase, not the transmission.
did ya put transmission fluid in the crankcase? that's all i can think of
check transmission fluid for correct amount or being dirty if fluid is ok your transmission is wearing out
The amount of transmission fluid that a Ford F350 will hold depends on the size of the transmission. The average is about 19.2 quarts of transmission fluid. The specs can be checked in stores during purchase. Over filling will cause problems with shifting.
the vacuum modulator on the transmission was allowing the fluid to be sucked into the intake manifold. what didn't burn went into the crankcase.
If it's a manual then it is more than likely caused by a clogged vent line. If it's an automatic and discharges a large amount of fluid in a short amount of time while running then it is probably a transmission cooling line.
Having too much fluid will cause your transmission fluid to look foamy
On a 2005 Suzuki RM-Z450 dirt bike, the transmission fluid goes into the engine's crankcase. You can access the fill hole by removing the oil filler cap, typically located on the right side of the engine. The proper fluid level can be checked using the sight window or dipstick. Always ensure to use the recommended type and amount of transmission fluid for optimal performance.
If you have an automatic transaxle there will be two: One for the crankcase, and one for the auto transmission fluid.
Automatic transmission fluid would likely cause a standard transmission to overheat and wear the gears at a high rate.
Power steering fluid is typically hydraulic or transmission oil. Drain the engine and change the filter. Replace the oil in the crankcase with the correct oil and amount. I don't believe it will damage the car but PS oil was not designed for use in a crankcase of an internal combustion engine.
If a Polaris Scrambler transmission vent line is blowing out transmission fluid the fluid may have been overfilled. Putting the transmission fluid in the wrong plug can also cause this.
