at least 8 gauge would work depending how long your running the wire. The number of subs does not matter, only the power rating of the amp does. my advise would be to just go ahead and buy a GOOD 4 gauge kit, this will give you more flexibility when you may decide to upgrade your system. don't cheap out with anything it's just a waste of money.
