Reverse polarity with a portable jump starter occurs when the positive and negative clamps are connected to the wrong terminals on the battery. This can cause damage to the jump starter, the vehicle's electrical system, and the battery itself. It is important to always double-check the polarity before connecting the jump starter to avoid this issue.
no
it depends of what accessories or electronic devices that switched the battery terminals. for ex. starter motor it will reverse the circulation if you reverse the polarity
All batteries have two terminals, one positive and one negative, and usually they need to be hooked up right for the equipment to work. Some equipment will be damaged if you hook the battery up the wrong way - reverse polarity. Equipment that has reverse polarity protection has something in them which makes them able to stand being hooked up wrong w/o being damaged.
Car battery polarity can only reverse if the battery is completely dead and then charged with the neg. and pos. leads of the charger are reversed. This is very dangerous as hydrogen gas which is given of buy a dead battery may explode and cause personal inguiry.Likewise if the car's battery cables are accidently reversed while the battery is dead. Only if it is a battery power tool and you fit the battery in reverse.

If the battery is damaged replace it. There is no way to repair that damage.
Overcharging by the alternator or if it is connected in reverse polarity.
Not unless you want to blow something in the electronics up...
You can't recharge it hooked up in reverse. You will destroy the battery or the charger if you try it.
The holes and electrons move away from the junction and attracted towards the terminals as the positive polarity is connected to the n-side and negative polarity to p-side.
