The 168 tooth flex plate/flywheel is bigger in diameter than the 153 tooth. If your block has 3 bolt holes to mount your starter(mines didn't),you could use either wheel you want. The 168 tooth wheel will need the starter to be mounted in the staggered position.the 153 tooth will need the starter to be mounted inline.

How do you count colonies on agar plates?

To count colonies on agar plates, first ensure the plates are incubated properly and are at room temperature. Use a colony counter or a marker to outline each colony, counting them systematically. It's important to only count distinct, well-isolated colonies and to avoid counting any that are too close together or appear to be clumped. For accuracy, record the counts for multiple plates and calculate an average if necessary.

Why the sample need dilution?

Dilution is done to decrease the amount of colonies found in the plates. If the solution is not diluted, it would be difficult to count the number of colonies because they would all overlap one another. So by dilution, we can limit the amount of colonies overlapping each other, count them, and used this number to estimate the number of bacteria in the original sample.

How do you count the lines of symmetry?

Fold (or pretend to fold) an object in half in different ways, and if the edges and corners match exactly up to each other, that is a line of symmetry. If you want to count all the lines of symmetry, use the method above but tally the amount of lines of symmetry you count.

How many major and minor plates are there in the crust?

The Earth's lithosphere is divided into several tectonic plates, which include seven major plates and numerous minor plates. The major plates are the Pacific, North American, Eurasian, African, South American, Antarctic, and Indo-Australian plates. Minor plates, such as the Nazca, Cocos, and Caribbean plates, vary in number, but there are generally around a dozen recognized minor plates. Overall, the exact count of minor plates can fluctuate based on classifications and geological activity.
