the difference between LT and P tires” Topics: Tire Rack Wholesale
It is nothing to do with "better" -P is for passenger cars only. LT are for trucks and generally have higher load rating and lower speed rating.Yes, all other factors aside, a P tire will ride smoother.
spelling :P //I GOOGLE MO :P
The "P" stands for Passenger, the "LT" for Light Truck. A LT tire has a sturdier sidewall than a P tire to better handle more vehicle / cargo weight. The numbers indicate height / width / rim...
there's no difference between them as they both are done on slopes.. :) :P

The cost of 12 articles at 3 p each is 12 × 3 = 36 p. The cost of 12 articles at 5 p each is 12 × 5 = 60 p. The difference in cost between the two is 60 p - 36 p = 24 p. Thus, the difference in cost is 24 p.
The ST means it is a trailer service only tire. P is passenger and LT would be Light truck.
Light truck tires have a superior load capacity to Passenger so you can, if you can find a size that closely matches OEM. The only drawback might be a little more road noise due to aggressive tread design and a slightly harsher ride. Wear is comparable, but they are more costly and there is really no benefit in doing so.
