if they were going quite fast, then yes. knights arm armour (ok that sounds weird) was made of a linked material, like a chain link fence. th arrow would hav 2 be going fast and hard to penetrate that. a spear on thother hand... well, ur arm would die. and arrows couldn't penetrate chest plates, legs, and usually helmets. th weak point would b th eye hole or in between th links. but i think bullet proof vests would wrk th best :)
Knights started wearing plate armor for better protection against arrows and weapons in battle. This armor increased their defense but also reduced their mobility. Additionally, plate armor allowed knights to display their status and wealth.
Knights didn't use arrows or bows; it was seen as a less honorable way of fighting. They just trained or hired some of the poorer fighters, so that the mass troops could do the shooting while the knights themselves got all of the "glory" in close combat.
Knights disappeared because of the invention of powerful weapons that could be handled by people who were relatively unskilled. The crossbow could pierce most armor and the knights were no longer needed.
The knights wore metal mainly to keep their enemies' arrows from piercing their bodies and killing them. These suits of armor were also handy in reducing injury during sword fights.
Both samurais and knights used swords as their primary weapon, such as the katana for samurais and the longsword for knights. They also both used armor for protection in battle, with samurais wearing elaborate armor made of lacquered plates and knights wearing suits of armor made of metal. Additionally, both warriors used bows and arrows in combat.
A suit of armor made from metal plates protected the knight's body during battles. This armor was designed to cover most of the body and provide protection against weapons such as swords, arrows, and spears.
Because knights have shield advance against the one handed sword samurai. because the armor and the shield is the most important defending weapons against Bows and arrows and ..... and i think the knight wins.
The heaviest armor in history is believed to be the Gothic plate armor worn by knights during the late Middle Ages. It was formidable due to its thick steel plates, which provided excellent protection against weapons like swords and arrows. Additionally, the armor was designed to distribute the weight evenly across the body, allowing knights to move more freely in battle.
