The first book in the 'House of Night' series is called 'Marked'. This book is written by P.C and Kristin Cast. It tells the tale of a sixteen year old girl called Zoey who becomes marked as a fledgling vampire, this means she must join the local house of night as she has lees chance of rejecting the change into a vampire if she is around them.
