Darwin is the father of evolution. He was a scientist. He was also a writer. He popularized the idea of natural selection. He also opposed slavery.

He was a boarder at Shrewsbury School. The official name was the Mount House.Darwin went to Edinburgh University in October 1825 to study medicine.

He married Emma on January 29, 1839. They had ten children, three of which died at early ages.

Darwin died in Down, Kent, on April 19, 1882. It it thought that Darwin suffered from Chagas's disease. He could have gotten this when bitten by a Benchuga bug during his scientific studies in South America.
