either the coil or ignition control module
get a new coil. a coil on an engine is designed to take a little power and make it into BIG power. also check wires and connections going to coil. your problem sounds like the coil though. good going in, nothing coming out. there's your problem.
Replace the ignition coil.
Check the coil.
could be.... coil ... coil wire or... pick up coil.. not working
If it is a gasoline engine it had both.
under the ignition coils, there are one coil for each spark plug.
8 coils16 spark plugs8 coils16 spark plugs
see if the coil is sparking to the distributor cap
change the battery
If you have no spark coming in or out of the coil pack, it could be due to several issues. First, check the ignition coil itself for faults, as a malfunctioning coil can prevent spark generation. Additionally, inspect the wiring and connectors for damage or corrosion, which can disrupt the electrical flow. Lastly, ensure that the ignition control module or the engine control unit (ECU) is functioning properly, as these components regulate the coil's operation.
you probably need new coil packs.
There is a long black item on the passenger side of the engine. That is the coil. They are under it.
