Sticking valve, bad Fuel,vacuum leak, bad wires , Oxagen Sensor causing a lean condition. replace every 50 to 60,000 miles
Finding Vacuum leak spray can of carb cleaner around intake manafold and all vac hoses
if the rpms gup its a vacuum leak. best thing us down load computer data it should tell u what system is messing up.

Injector Circuit Open Cylinder 6
check the #18 fuse for the injector in the engine bay. My 2001 venture blows that fuse when the wipers are activated. Im in process of finding the problem.

I also have a 2000 Venture same problem. Solution was tire balance weights fell off. They were replaced and problem resolved but....the tires were worn irregularly on the inside and I had them replaced.
ball joints cannot be tightened. if they re worn and have play in them, they need to be replaced
I had this problem with my 2001 Venture, the dealer replaced the motor and the mechanism. The van was only 6 mos. old..

The best time to replace a 2004 Chevy Venture timing chain is when it becomes weak or broken. It is not something that needs replaced routinely.
There are no u-joints on the venture van. It has CV joints that are sealed with rubber boots and cannot be serviced. They can only be removed and rebuilt or replaced, etc
there is no timing belt -- only a timing chain that does not need to be replaced
