Low refrigerant charge? Blown fuse?
my 2001 ford windstar wont shift out of first gear.
No...That sensor is a pressure sensor.(located next to the condensor) It will not let the compressor run if the pressure is to low or to high,so the compressor wont be damaged. If it is unplugged the compressor wont come on at all.
They are burned out.
you can lock the driver side door on my 2001 ford explorer sport but it wont unlock with key nor key pad you have to go through passanger door
needs more fluid
The compressor wont turn if the freon levels are too low! It has a cutoff so if the freon all escapes the system the compressor wont be damaged.
It could be that the lock motors are not working, or that the connection in the wiring has been broken somewhere.
You may have a leak in the system. When the refrigerant level drops below a certain point the fan and compressor will not engage.
my 94 explorer wont blow heat
There is a good chance the system is low or empty of freon. If the pressure drops there is a switch that shuts down the operation so that it doesn't self destruct. The compressor relies on the oil and the freon for lubrication.
Those wheels wont fit. The bolt patterns are different. see below... 2001 Ford F150 Lariat 4wd ===> Bolt Pattern: 5-135 1993 Ford Explorer 4wd ===> Bolt Pattern: 5-114
