I had a 95 Neon. First if you shut the engine off and then put the key into the ignition and turn it 5 times to the starting point, but don't start the engine, you will get a series of flashing lights. These are trouble codes. count the number of lights like 5-2. Then look in your owners manual, it should have the codes in their. Once you know what the problem is you can fix it yourself or take it to a repair shop(dealer or private) and they can do the repair work. Hope this helps.
