it sounds like your coolant over flow tank is leaking.
it is a common problem with these cars.
might also check your radiator for leaks
or your exhaust for coolant, but if there is coolant in your exhaust that would mean blown heads
Inoperative thermostatic clutch on the cooling fan. Loose fan belts. Low coolant
You are low on antifreeze. If not, your float is stuck and sunk.
Low pressure switch shutting the unit on and off. Possibly low on freon.
It is a low pressure AC clutch cut out switch. It keeps the compressor from running if the system is low or empty of freon.
When running the air conditioner, there might be a small leak of fluid on the 2000 Alero after it is parked. This is normal as it is only the overflow valve being released. Always check the antifreeze level before operating the vehicle in the summer to prevent low antifreeze warnings.
In a 2003 Cadillac CTS, you should add antifreeze to the coolant reservoir, which is typically located near the front of the engine bay. Look for a translucent plastic tank with a cap labeled for coolant or antifreeze. Make sure to check the coolant level and add a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water if it's low. Always ensure the engine is cool before opening the cap to avoid burns.
First, are you low on antifreeze? If you aren't, did you reset the computer? I'm not an expert on Fords but there may be a little fuse box. The blinking one (if there is) is the one you reset.
Your intake is probably cracked. I had the same problem as well as others on a 98 LeSabre. I could smell the antifreeze and the fluid leaked down.
Antifreeze low
your cadillac is low on gas means you're going to run out of gas soon
yes.
You need to have your antifreeze up to par and if it is a leak you are worried about until you get somewhere to have it fixed there are quick fix solutions such as Barr's Leak that you can use it will seal the leak temporarily to get you to where you are going. Do not ever open your radiator cap if your car has been running - only open it when it is cold.
