Anyone have any info on dropping a Chevy 350 V8 into a 1991 Mercedes Benz 500SL roadster?

Check out "Renegade Hybrids" in Las Vegas. They sell adapter kits and also do custom installations of small block 350 Chevys into all models of Porsches... 911s, 914s, 944s, and 928s. I don't know if they make a kit for swapping a 350 into a 500SL Mercedes, but they are the experts on putting American V8s into German coachwork. Call 'em up. They might know someone who does the conversion.

I have a 450 SL that I put a Chevy engine into. There is no kit that I know of.

I made all the parts to make it fit with all G.M. parts and a Chevy trany. It's not

a job for just anyone. The car drives and runs like it should,but with a lot more

power and better fuel mileage. If anyone wants I can give Pics of the work done

and help with advise.
