We have put an aftermarket car stereo in a car with the controls on the steering wheel. You have to check to see if an aftermarket wiring harness is available for that year and model.
To install an aftermarket stereo in a 2004 Chevy Venture, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Remove the center console trim and the factory stereo by unscrewing the mounting screws and gently pulling it out. Connect the aftermarket stereo's wiring harness to the vehicle's harness using an adapter, if necessary, and secure the stereo in place. Finally, reassemble the trim and reconnect the battery.
