"To own a car you need a license, thus, you need one to insure a car. They check your DMV driving record when you get insurance plus they count how many years driving as part of the method to determine insurance cost."
Is the first sentence accurate? I am disabled and don't drive, but have an attendant drive me. Can I legally own a car, and have an attendant included on the vehicle insurance?
DoType your answer here... do you need a drivers license to insure car?
In order to insure a car you must have a vaild drivers license for the state you are insuring your car in.
no
Yes, if you are planning to be the listed driver.
I bought a vehicle but cannot drive as I cannot have a drivers license. Is there a way to insure and license it in my name so I may have a licensed driver drive my vehicle?
Normally yes. Insurance companies are concerned that they insure drivers with valid drivers license, the State where it is issued is really not a concern.
you can insure a car with no license
Depends. If you're in the military it's not a problem, but if you're a civilian you must switch over your drivers license.
Well you have to be 16 or over to have a drivers license. At 18 you can purchase and insure your car, so basically 18.
In my opinion I don't think you can insure a car with out a license because it is the law in most states.
Depending on what state you are in, you don't need a drivers license to purchase a car. You only need a drivers license to drive it. If you do have a car titled in your name, you will still need to insure it, whether or not you drive it.
You can insure the car if you list those drivers on the policy.
