Yes it can, depending on where it is located in the equipment.
Low refrigerant? Blown fuse?
Compressor not running, blown fuse, low of freon.
Fuse blown
Yes, a blown fuse can cause the air conditioner in a car to stop working. The fuse protects the electrical components of the AC system; if it blows, it interrupts the power supply to essential parts like the compressor or blower motor. Checking and replacing the fuse is a simple troubleshooting step if the AC is not functioning. However, if the fuse continues to blow, it may indicate a deeper electrical issue that needs to be addressed.
check to see if your fuse is blown.
This just happened to my Durango. You have 2 fans under the hood to cool the engine and a/c evaporator. One of the fuses under the hood fuse box is blown for 1 of the cooling fans. You will be able to see the metal in the fuse is broken/burnt.
Blown fuse? Refrigerant leak?
A fuse is a deliberate weak link which will be blown if there is a power overload. When you blow a fuse, take the blown fuse out and throw it away as you would a blown light bulb, and replace it with another fuse of the same type. * In the old-timey fuse boxes a penny could be substituted for a fuse, but a penny is too strong to be blown, and the next overload will burn the house down.
No. It can be a blown fuse, bad fan motor switch, bad fan motor, bad fan motor resistor pack, or a loose or disconnected wire.
The device will work, but the 3A fuse will blow quicker than the 5A would have.
i just changed my fuel pump and it has not blown the fuse so i would say that it can cause the fuse to blow
