I took a fillet knife and ran it behind the mirror to cut the glue. Advance Auto sold the right replacement. Apply glue strips and press mirror on.
Get some rear view mirror glue from target and glue the plate to the window. Make sure the tapered edge tapers into the window. If you glue it on wrong you can always buy another plate and glue that to the first but you will feel pretty stupid. Then slide the mirror on the plate.

If it is the mount where the mirror is attached to the car itself, try visiting your local junk/salvage yard.
