As long as it has not been labeled as non-repairable you should be able to. It will have to be inspected and pass which usually means repairing any damage it has that affects safety or performance. A broken windshield has to be repalced, a dented door that still opens and closes would not have to be.
You can register with a salvage title.
YES
You go to Massachusetts and make the title Massachusetts Salvage then you register it in as New Jersey Clean TItle with History of Salvage.
Yes, of course you do! :)
I am sure this varies by state. In California a salvaged car can be exported to Nevada, registered, then re-registered in California. Ask an experienced car salvage guy.
what you'll get is a salvage title, you can repair the car and register it but an inspection will be necessary and the title will most likely always show it was salvaged.
The question shows a misunderstanding of what is required to register a vehicle with a salvage title.MOST places require a very detailed inspection the first time the car is registered after the title being "Branded" as salvage. After that the procedure is identical to all all other cars.
A BMW salvage car can be obtained from a few places. A couple options in locations to pbtain a BMW salvage car from is an actual salvage yard, or a used car dealership.
You can salvage you car by taking it to a scrap metal yard. They will pay you money for your car.
yes
That means that at some point the car was wrecked so severely that the cost to repair it exceeded 75% of the value of the car. The car was therefore totaled and sold to a salvage yard. The salvage yard sold the car to someone who repaired it and sold it with the required salvage title. You should have noticed the salvage title when you bought the car.
The salvage title has to do with obtaining a loan on the car. However, I would disclose it.
