<p>2006 Mercury Mariner front side marker parking lamp bulb replacement.</p>
<p>(1) Remove two fender splash shield bolts (item 1).</p>
<p>(2) Remove three fender splash shield plastic pin-type retainers (item 2), using a Phillips screwdriver to first remove the center pin, then gently pry the fastener out with a flat screwdriver.</p>
<p>(3) Remove two screws (items 3 and 4).</p>
<p>(4) Position fender splash shield aside.</p>
<p>(5) Remove the side marker lamp bulb holder (item 5) from the lamp assembly, by turning counterclockwise.</p>
<p>(6) Remove front side marker lamp bulb (item 6) from holder, by pulling bulb straight out.</p>
<p>(7) To install, reverse the removal procedure.</p>

How you do this is to place the bulb under twice as much pressure than it is currently at. Slowly increase the pressure and then increase the temperature by 21 degrees celcius. Once you have done all of this, dip the bulb in paint that contains mercury
