If a cooling fan continues to run after reaching maximum temperature, it may indicate a malfunction in the temperature sensor or thermostat, which is not signaling the fan to turn off. Additionally, it could be a design feature to ensure the system stays within safe operating temperatures. Checking for dust buildup or obstructions in the fan can also help, as restricted airflow can cause the fan to run longer. If the issue persists, consulting a professional technician may be necessary.
Replacing the actual part is not always going to fix a problem. The cooling temperature sensor may stop working if the wiring, to and from it is burnt out, and if the fuse is broken.

Range is the difference of cooling water inlet and cooling water outlet temp
If the temperature gauge is rising when you stop at traffic lights then your electric cooling fan is not running. Most likely need a new temp. switch for the fan.
