1. Take U.S. 259 SOUTH from Longview to U.S. 59 SOUTH to LUFKIN. Bear right.
2. Take U.S. 59 SOUTH to Houston where U.S. 59 becomes the Eastex Fwy. Stay on U.S. 59 on the Eastex Fwy to I-45 SOUTH to Galveston via I-610 (Loop Fwy) EAST. [EXIT 32A off I-610 (Loop Fwy) to get onto I-45 SOUTH (Gulf Fwy) to GALVESTON.]
3. Take I-45 SOUTH to Galveston.
