Do not drive more than 8 or 9 hours in a day because this could lead to extreme fatigue, which heightens the risk of falling asleep at the wheel. If you are feeling tired get off the road. Pull over to the side of the road or to a road-side stopping area to sleep or get out and stretch your legs. If you have to sleep then sleep for as long as you have to or want to. People are more of a hazard to themselves when they are fatigued than when they are awake and aware.
