You don't have to remove gas, just add good gas as ethanol gets used up.
You would get slightly better distance per volume of the fuel used.
I know over time that gas with ethanol will deteriorate the fuel lines on a boat, because they were not made for ethanol. I do not know, however, what would happen with a plastic boat gas tank. One would assume that if it did destroy the gas can, the government would mandate a warning of some sort. Otherwise, people could get killed.
The highest octane non ethanol gas available at least 91 octane
ethanol added to the gas pump is leading to less mileage for my car. Where can I find non ethanol gas stations on the west coast of Fl.?
You can only use the gas that is blended with ethanol. 90 % gas 10 % ethanol. You can not use the new 85% ethanol 15 % gas; this will eat the seals on your fuel system. I hope this helps you. Mark
From what I've heard, if your vehicle was not designed to run on ethanol, don't put it in the tank. Ethanol is a type of alcohol, and will corrode fuel lines, fuel injectors and cause a number of problems. 99, suburban....I'd use regular gas to be safe
This process will only cause ethanol molecules to enter the gas phase. So, it's simply ethanol as a gas leaving the solution
When boiling ethanol, the gas inside the bubbles is mainly ethanol vapor along with some air. Ethanol vapor is formed as the liquid ethanol heats up and turns into a gas, creating bubbles that rise to the surface.
